The ongoing genocide perpetrated by the Israeli occupation, threats of invasion in Rafah, torture of Palestinian detainees, the Israeli occupying forces’ protection of armed settlers who invade, shout, and burn down homes and properties in our villages, the lack of accountability, and Sweden's stance were all discussed with State Secretary Jan Knutsson.
Thanks to Ambassador Karim Mederek of the Kingdom of Morocco who paved the opportunity for me, during the Moroccan Ifter he hosted, to discuss with H.E Tobias Billström the latest situation in Palestine especially the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the tourturing of the Palestinian detainees including women and children - especially those who were arrested before October 2023, the barbarism of the armed settlers and the Swedish position.
Ambassador Almhaissen had the pleasure to meet Mr. Vincent Lyn, serving as the Deputy Ambassador of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) and CEO/Founder of We Can Save Children, an organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating children in conflict zones. The situation in Palestine and the genocide in Gaza were discussed, particularly the tragic effect it has on Palestinian children.
