بمناسبة يوم الأسير الفلسطيني، شاركت سعادة السفيرة

رولا المحيسن اليوم الموافق 15 نيسان/أبريل 2023 في وقفة تضامنية في مدينة هلسنبوري، جنوبي السويد، نظمتها الجالية الفلسطينية بمشاركة كلٍ من السيدة كلوديا ڤاليز عن حزب اليسار، السيدة مي بروسيل عن الحزب الاشتراكي الديمقراطي والسيدة فيا اندرسون عن حزب البيئة والسيد ستيج بروكڤيست عن مجموعة المتضامنين السويديين، إضافة إلى د. علي هدروس منسق التحالف الأوروبي لمناصرة الأسرى.

وأكدت السفيرة على الاعتزاز بالتضحيات التي يقدمها الأسرى في سبيل التحرير والاستقلال والذين بلغ عددهم 4800 أسيراً؛ منهم 170 طفلاً و29 سيدةً و 500 مريضاً و1000 أسيراً إدارياً. كما استشهد 233 أسيراً.

وطالبت المجتمع الدولي بالتدخل لرفع انتهاكات حقوق الانسان والقوانين الدولية وخاصة اتفاقية جنيف التي ترتكبها الحكومات المتعاقبة لقوة الاحتلال الإسرائيلية بحق أسرانا البواسل، خاصة في ظل زيادة هذه الانتهاكات منذ استلام حكومة اليمين الاسرائيلية المتطرفة والعنصرية الجديدة للحكم. ودعت إلى محاسبتها على جرائمها المتواصلة وتوفير الحماية لشعبنا الفلسطيني وتحرير كافة الأسرى وإنهاء الإحتلال.

وقد أكد المتحدثون على دعمهم للقضية الفلسطينية وطالبوا بالإفراج عن جميع الأسرى وإنهاء معاناة الشعب الفلسطيني المستمرة منذ 75 عاماً.

On the occasion of Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, H.E. Ambassador Rula Almhaissen participated today in a solidarity stand in Helsingborg organized by the Palestinian community, with the participation of Ms. Claudia Vallis of the Left Party, Ms. May Brussel of the Social Democratic Party, Ms. Via Andersson of the Green Party, and Mr. Stig Broqvist of the Swedish Solidarity Group.

The Ambassador expressed pride in the sacrifices made by the (4,800) Palestinian detainees in the struggle for liberation and independence, including (170) children, (29) women, (500) sick prisoners, (1,000) administrative detainees and (233) martyred during their captivity.

The Ambassador called on the international community to intervene in order to put an end to the violations of human rights and international laws, especially the Geneva Convention, committed by successive Israeli occupation governments against our brave prisoners, especially in light of the increase in these violations since the new Israeli extreme and racist right-wing government came to power. She called for holding them accountable for their ongoing crimes, providing protection for the Palestinian people, freeing all prisoners and ending the occupation.

The speakers affirmed their support for the Palestinian cause and called for the release of all prisoners and putting an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people that has been going on for the past 75 years.
