Ambassador Almhaissen held a meeting on Wednesday, 25/10/2023, with Mrs. Magdalena Andersson, leader of the Social Democratic Party and former Prime Minister of Sweden, and a number of Swedish parliamentarians, including Mr. Morgan Johansson, Vice-Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Parliament.

During the meeting, the parliamentarians were briefed on the suffering of our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as a result of the war crimes committed against them by the Israeli occupation forces during their ongoing aggression.

We called on the parliamentarians to increase pressure on Israel in order to stop the aggression, end its occupation of all Palestinian lands, and lift the siege on the Gaza Strip.
