The Embassy of the State of Palestine in Sweden organized an open house on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, attended by officials from the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, embassies accredited to the Kingdom of Sweden, Swedish parliamentarians, institutions, and various organizations advocating for our just Palestinian cause. The participants were briefed on the developments of the Israeli occupation’s aggression in Gaza, its escalating violations of international law and international humanitarian law in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the suffering and plight of our prisoners. The event featured a continuous video presentation depicting the tragedies of the brutal Israeli aggression and genocide on our Palestinian people in Gaza and across Palestine, as well as showcasing global solidarity with the Palestinian people from nations worldwide. Additionally, a photo exhibition illustrated the historical stages of the State of Palestine and the resilience of our Palestinian people from pre-Nakba to the present day. Participants expressed full solidarity with the Palestinian people, affirming support for their legitimate rights, including the right to self-determination. We emphasized the immediate need to halt aggression, provide aid to our people, hold successive Israeli governments accountable for their crimes, and stressed the importance of convening an international peace conference to end the occupation.
