سفارة دولة فلسطين لدى مملكة السويد تفتح سجل عزاء باستشهاد الاعلامية الفلسطينية شيرين أبو عاقلة

بناءً على توجيهات سيادة الرئيس محمود عباس، وتعليمات وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين، افتتحت سفارة دولة فلسطين لدى مملكة السويد سجلاً للعزاء بشهيدة الحقيقة، الاعلامية شيرين أبو عاقلة التي اغتالتها قوة الاحتلال الاسرائيلي بدمٍ بارد، في 11 أيار/مايو 2022 أثناء تغطيتها لاجتياح مخيم جنين البطل.
وقد شارك أبناء الجالية الفلسطينية في السويد وعدد من السفراء والدبلوماسيين المعتمدين في ستوكهولم ومسؤولين ومناصرين للقضية الفلسطينية؛ حيث سجلوا كلماتهم في سجل العزاء ونددوا باغتيال شهيدة الحق والعدالة وأشادوا بدورها النضالي في نقل الممارسات العنصرية لقوات الاحتلال الاسرائيلية بحق شعبنا الفلسطيني ونقلها صوت فلسطين للعالم وفضحها لخروقات القانون الدولي الذي تمارسه القوة القائمة بالاحتلال.
وكانت السفارة قد أصدرت بياناً بالخصوص، حمّلت فيه الحكومة الاسرائيلية المسؤولية أمام الجرائم التي ترتكبها. واعتبرت الشهيدة ضحيةً للإرهاب المنظم لقوة الإحتلال الإسرائيلي ولازدواجية المعايير الدولية. كما أكدت أن الاستهداف المتعمد وقتل المدنيين الأبرياء جزء من السياسات اليومية الممنهجة والمنظمة للقوة القائمة بالاحتلال ضد شعبنا وأرضه ومقدساته. وطالبت الصحفيين في العالم بفضح جرائم الاحتلال الاسرائيلي بما فيها الجرائم المتعمدة ضد الصحفيين. وطالبت ايضاً المحكمة الجنائية الدولية بفتح تحقيق في جرائم الاحتلال ضد الصحفيين والاعلاميين. كما طالبت مجلس الأمن بتحمل مسؤولياته وتوفير الحماية الدولية للشعب الفلسطيني تنفيذاً لقرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة.
Based on the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas and the instructions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Kingdom of Sweden opened a book of condolences for the martyr of truth, journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was cold-bloodedly assassinated by Israeli occupation forces on May 11, 2022, while covering the heroic invasion of the Jenin camp.
Members of the Palestinian community in Sweden, along with several ambassadors and diplomats accredited in Stockholm, officials, and supporters of the Palestinian cause, participated in the condolence book, denouncing the assassination of the martyr of truth and justice. They praised her struggle in exposing the racist practices of the Israeli occupation forces against our Palestinian people and in conveying the voice of Palestine to the world, revealing the violations of international law committed by the occupying power.
The embassy had issued a statement in this regard, holding the Israeli government responsible for the crimes it commits. It considered the martyr a victim of the organized terrorism of the Israeli occupying power and the double standards of the international community. The statement also emphasized that the deliberate targeting and killing of innocent civilians is part of the systematic and organized daily policies of the occupying power against our people, land, and holy sites. The embassy called on journalists worldwide to expose the Israeli occupation’s crimes, including deliberate crimes against journalists. It also called on the International Criminal Court to open an investigation into the occupation’s crimes against journalists and media personnel. Furthermore, it urged the Security Council to assume its responsibilities and provide international protection for the Palestinian people in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions.
