أحيت يوم السبت الموافق 19/11/2022 لجنة منطقة أوبسالا حركة التحرير الوطني الفلسطيني فتح-إقليم السويد تحت رعاية سفارة دولة فلسطين لدى المملكة السويدية ذكرى استشهاد القائد الرمز ياسر عرفات بحضور سعادة السفيرة رولا المحيسن والأخ ماجد عويضة أمين سر حركة فتح-إقليم السويد وطاقم السفارة ولفيف من الشخصيات الوطنية والجاليات وكوادر حركة فتح في السويد.
افتتح المهرجان بالنشيد الوطني الفلسطيني والسويدي وقراءة الفاتحة على روح الشهيد ياسر عرفات وعلى جميع أرواح شهداء الوطن، وعلى أرواح ضحايا حريق مخيم جباليا.
وفي كلمتها للحضور أكدت السفيرة رولا المحيسن على مواصلة الشعب الفلسطيني تمسكه بنهج القائد ياسر عرفات والمضي على دربه لاستعادة كامل حقوقه المشروعة، وعلى رأسها حقه في تقرير المصير والعودة وإقامة دولته المستقلة كاملة السيادة وعاصمتها القدس الشريف، بالتماشي مع قرارات الشرعية الدولية ذات الصلة، وفي ظل منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية المرجعية النضالية والممثل الشرعي والوحيد لشعبنا الفلسطيني.
كما أكدت على الجهود الدبلوماسية لفضح ممارسات الاحتلال الغاشم ضد أبناء شعبنا في كل المحافل الدولية، وفقاً لتوجيهات السيد الرئيس محمود عباس والقيادة الفلسطينية.
وأكد الأخ ماجد عويضة على حرص الحركة على إحياء ذكرى استشهاد القائد الخالد فينا الشهيد أبوعمار وجدد العهد والوفاء لما استشهد من أجله الشهيد أبوعمار وكل شهداء الثورة الفلسطينية وأهمية اللقاء بأبناء الجالية لأن حركة فتح كانت وستظل حريصة دوماً على لم الصفوف والتواصل مع الكل الفلسطيني. كما قدم التعازي لشعبنا الفلسطيني في غزة على ضحايا حريق مخيم جباليا وكل شهداء الوطن.

The Palestinian National Liberation Movement Fatah – Sweden, commemorates the martyrdom of leader Yasser Arafat
On Saturday 19/11/2022, the Uppsala Region’s Committee of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement, Fatah-Sweden, under the auspices of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Kingdom of Sweden, commemorated the martyrdom of the symbolic leader Yasser Arafat, in the presence of H. E. Ambassador Rula Al Mhaissen, Mr. Maged Oweda, Secretary of the Fatah Movement-Sweden, along with Embassy staff and national figures, expatriates and Fatah movement cadres in Sweden.
The festival opened with the Palestinian and Swedish national anthems and the reading of Al-Fatiha on the soul of the martyr Yasser Arafat, on all the souls of our Martyrs, and on the souls of the victims of the recent fire in Jabalia refugee camp.
In her speech, Ambassador Al Mhaissen emphasized the Palestinian people’s continued adherence to the path forged by leader Yasser Arafat, and the importance of following in his footsteps to restore all legitimate rights, foremost of which are the rights to self-determination, return, and the establishment of an independent, fully sovereign state, with its capital Jerusalem, in line with the relevant resolutions of international legitimacy, and under the leadership of the PLO as the sole reference and legitimate representative of our Palestinian people.
She also stressed the diplomatic efforts to expose the brutal practices of the occupation against our people in all international forums, in accordance with the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian leadership.
In addition, Mr. Oweda emphasized the movement’s keenness to commemorate the martyrdom of our immortal leader, Abu Ammar. He also offered condolences to our Palestinian people in Gaza, the family of the victims of the Jabalia refugee camp fire and all the martyrs of the homeland.
