On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, we had the privilege of hosting the Arab Ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Sweden at the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Stockholm. This visit was a powerful expression of Arab solidarity with the Palestinian people, who endure the aggression of Israeli occupation forces in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Ambassador Almhaissen provided a comprehensive briefing regarding the war crimes perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces during their offensive. She emphasized the oppressive nature of this occupation, which systematically targets Palestinian civilians with the intent of causing their genocide, depriving them of basic necessities such as water, electricity, food, and medical supplies, all in flagrant violation of international laws and norms.

In this regard, Ambassador Almhaissen underscored the imperative for ongoing coordination among all Arab Ambassadors to encourage the Swedish government and the international community to take supportive positions in favor of the Palestinian people. This includes exerting pressure on the Israeli occupation to cease its aggression, hold it accountable for its crimes, and ultimately bring an end to the occupation.

All the Arab Ambassadors reaffirmed their unwavering solidarity and the spirit of brotherhood that unites Arab governments and their people with the cause of Palestine. They expressed their resolute commitment to mobilizing efforts at every level to end the suffering of Palestinians and secure the full spectrum of rights for the Palestinian people.

This visit is part of a series of meetings and actions carried out by the Embassy of the State of Palestine in collaboration with the Arab Ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Sweden since the onset of the aggression.
