تشرفت السفيرة رولا المحيسن بالأمس بتلبية دعوة زعيمة حزب اليسار السويدي نوشي دادغوستار لإلقاء كلمة في مؤتمر حزب اليسار في يونشوبينغ. وهنأت دادغوستار نيابة عن الشعب الفلسطيني على إعادة انتخابها الذي يمثل الثقة الممنوحة لها.

وأشادت وأعربت عن امتنانها للموقف التاريخي المبدئي لحزب اليسار المناصر للشعب الفلسطيني والقضية الفلسطينية، خاصة خلال الإبادة الجماعية الإسرائيلية التي ترتكبها بحق الشعب الفلسطينيالتي بدأت في أكتوبر الماضي.
طالبت بدعم القانون من خلال محاسبة المجرمين، وفرض العقوبات، وضمان ألا تحدد المعايير المزدوجة مستقبل للأجيال القادمة، وحماية الفلسطينيين، وخاصة في رفح، وإطلاق سراح المعتقلين الفلسطينيين، ووقف الإبادة الجماعية المستمرة، ووقف إطلاق النار الفوري، وإنهاء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.
وأكدت دادغوستار على تضامن حزب اليسار مع الشعب الفلسطيني، وشددت على أهمية تكثيف الجهود لتحقيق وقف فوري لإطلاق النار وفرض عقوبات مشددة وإصدار مذكرات اعتقال ضد الحكومة الإسرائيلية لارتكابها جرائم حرب.
Ambassador Rula Almhaissen was honoured yesterday to be invited by Swedish Left Party leader Nooshi Dadgostar to deliver a speech at the Left Party Congress in Jörnköping. She congratulated Dadgostar on behalf of the Palestinian people for her re-election which is a testament to the confidence placed in her.
She praised and expressed gratitude for the historic principled positions of the Left Party in advocating for the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause, particularly in light of the recent genocide perpetrated against Palestinians, beginning with the Israeli aggression last October.
She emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law by holding the Israeli criminals accountable, imposing sanctions, ensuring double standards do not dictate the future for generations to come, saving Palestinians, especially in Rafah, freeing Palestinian detainees, halting the ongoing genocide, implementing an immediate ceasefire, and ending Israeli occupation.

For her part, Dadgostar asserted the Left Party’s solidarity with the Palestinian people and emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to realise an immediate ceasefire, impose heavy sanctions and issue arrest warrants against the Israeli government for committing war crimes.
