Umeå في مدينة أوميو،
بدعوة من حرب البيئة، الحزب الاشتراكي الديمقراطي وحزب اليسار، تشرفت السفيرة رولا المحيسن بزيارة بلدية مدينة أوميو ولقاء ممثلي الأحزاب؛ حيث تم إحاطتهم حول تطورات الإبادة الجماعية المستمرة التي ترتكبها قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي ضد شعبنا الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة والعدوان والاستيطان المستمرين في الضفة الغربية وبحث السبل الممكنة لدعم الوقف الفوري لحرب الإبادة، تجميد الشراكة الأوروبية-الإسرائيلية، استئناف دعم الأونروا وإنهاء الإحتلال الإسرائيلي.
وشاركت السفيرة مع قادة مجموعات الأحزاب في حلقة نقاشية، بحضور أعضاء من الأحزاب وعدد من أبناء الجالية الفلسطينية.
وفي نهاية الزيارة، أصدر ممثلو الأحزاب الثلاثة بياناً داعماً للقضية الفلسطينية ولحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني.
In the City of Umeå, at the invitation of the Social Democratic Party, the Green Party, and Left Party, Ambassador Rula Almhaissen had the honor of visiting Umeå Municipality and meeting with party representatives. During their meeting, she briefed them on the ongoing genocide being carried out by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as the continued aggression and settlement expansion in the West Bank.
The discussions focused on possible ways to support an immediate end to the war of extermination, the suspension of the EU-Israel partnership, the resumption of support for UNRWA, and the termination of the Israeli occupation.
Ambassador Almhaissen also participated in a panel discussion with party group leaders, which party members and members of the Palestinian community attended.
At the conclusion of the visit, representatives of the three parties issued a statement expressing their support for the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.
