في مدينة لوليو Luleå،
وبدعوة من ممثلي الأحزاب السياسية السويدية، زارت السفيرة رولا المحيسن بلدية مدينة لوليو، حيث إلتقت بممثلي الحزب الاشتراكي الديمقراطي، حزب اليسار، حزب البيئة وحزب الوسط.
وقد تناولت اللقاءات تطورات الأوضاع في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، خاصة ما يتعرض له الشعب الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة من حرب إبادة مستمرة ترتكبها قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، وكذلك الانتهاكات المتواصلة والمتصاعدة في الضفة الغربية من عدوان واستيطان.
تم خلال الزيارة التأكيد على أهمية العمل المشترك للوقف الفوري للإبادة والعدوان، إنهاء سياسة القتل عبر التجويع، التجميد الفوري للشراكة الأوروبية-الإسرائيلية، استئناف دعم الأونروا، وإنهاء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الغير قانوني.
كما شاركت السفيرة في جلسة نقاشية مع ممثلي الأحزاب، وبمشاركة دينا الصوفي، مركز أولوف بالمه الدولي، وياكوب ليندفوش، ممثل منظمة أنقذوا الأطفال وبحضور عدد من المتضامنين.
وقد عكست اللقاءات اهتماماً سياسياً متزايداً بضرورة دعم حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني، وتوحيد الجهود لوقف الإبادة الجماعية التي ترتكبها قوات الإحتلال الإسرائيلي وضمان العدالة بإنهاء الإحتلال الإسرائيلي الإستعماري وفرض العقوبات على مجرمي الحرب والمتواطئين.
وختاماً للزيارة، أصدر ممثلو الأحزاب بياناً داعماً لحقوق ومطالب الشعب الفلسطيني.
In the City of Luleå, at he invitation of representatives from Swedish political parties, Ambassador Rula Almhaissen had the honor to visit Luleå municipality, where she met with representatives of the Social Democratic Party, the Left Party, the Green Party, and the Centre Party.
The meetings addressed recent developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, with a particular focus on the ongoing genocide waged by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as the escalating violations, attacks, and settlement expansion in the West Bank.
During the visit, emphasis was placed on the importance of joint action to immediately end the genocide and aggression; put a stop to the policy of killing through starvation; immediately freeze the EU–Israel partnership; resume support to UNRWA; and end the illegal Israeli occupation.
The Ambassador also participated in a panel discussion with party representatives, joined by Dina Al-Soufi from the Olof Palme International Center, Jakob Lindfors from Save the Children Sweden, and a number of solidarity activists.
The meetings reflected growing political interest in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people, coordinating efforts to stop the ongoing genocide by Israeli occupation forces, and ensuring justice through the dismantling of the Israeli colonial occupation and the imposition of sanctions on war criminals and their accomplices.
At the conclusion of the visit, representatives of the parties issued a statement expressing their support for the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.
